Ok, so we all know and hate the door knockers who come trying to save you this on that. Even though sometimes there are those worth listening to an considering, well, Major Energy is NOT one of them.

I dont recall when I signed up with them but it was sometime in 2013, that being said. My family has limited funds and I got in to the hype of it all trying to save us money by signing up with them. Well, not everyone checks their bills like I will be doing form now on and what happens is things get by.

Well, we're on budget billing so we expect our bills to be higher than normal which is partly why I never really caught on to this until now.

Anyway, I was ooking over my Dec. 2014 due Jan. 2015 bill and I noticed actual charges of almost $400 even though the budget plan was asking for ~$250. So I got to wondering why in the hell it was so high and I noticed something interesting.

Oh, my Gas people are National Fuel in Meaddville Pa.

As I was saing, I noticed something interesting... the price to compare as stated by National Fuel on the bill was 0.47265 per ccf and Major Energy aka con artists taking advantage of low income people charged me 0.0.989 per ccf costing me an additional $158 !

So after seeing this I got really curiois, and since National Fuel keeps the past 12 months of bills available to me online I checked every one starting with my Jan. 2014 due Feb. 2014 bill and here's what I found.

So as one can see, for the year of 2014 I have been charged an extra $863.14 which I feel I have every right to get back.

I haven't called them on this yet and plan to in the AM but wanted to get this report out. I will be sure to update it accordingly with the results of my discussion with them. However, I pretty much expect it to go something like this.

-- I'm sorry sir but we cvan't nor are we obligated to refund that amount. When you signed up with us you exgreed to blah blah blah.

Should they not be willing to work with me on this siuation, rest assured I will be seeking legal actions if I can find a lawyer who'd be willing to pick a fight with Major Energy after they review this report and many others like it here on ripoffreport.com

Ty for letting me report my experience with Major Energy and I can only hope it will detur others from dealing with a company who will take every chance they get to squeeze what they can out of whoever they can.

Ps; As I said before, I will update this complaint to let everyone know how my phone call goes with them tomorrow.

As of ~10 minutes ago I have cancelled my account with Major Energy, called the PA PUC to file a complaint. The PUC also referred me to the attorney generals office whi I also called and they are mailing me a form to file a formal complaint with their office against Major Energy.

@Major Energy: You want this complaint to go away then cough up nothing less of $700 or we'll see what the Attorney Genral has to say !
