Malcolm Stinson Land Home package down payment rip off Showlow Arizona
We gave a man $10,000.00 for a land/home deal in Arizona we moved into my mother in-laws house July 2006 because he said the home would be ready in Aug 2006 , The agreement was that if it didnt work out before the home was ready he said he would give us ALL of our $10k back. it wasnt ready by Nov 2006 at which time the place we were living was no longer available and we had no where to go but the home we paid $10,000.00 to get into! At that time my husband called the owner and said we have to move in NOW when will the water & electric be ready! The owner said it may not be ready till Jan. 2007!!!!! We had no where to go because we moved all the way from California so we told him we wanted ALL our money back because we can live there and have no where to GO. He said that he doesnt have to give it back by law and that he would give it back (because he is nice lol) when the home sells! Until the home sells he is charging us a ton of bogus charges plus interest!
