Lisa, let's point out your mistakes when buying this car. 1) You never inspected the car before you purchased 2) You were willing to believe what the salesman told you, instead of asking to see the carfax report (which the dealer is required by law to show) 3) You paid $36,000 for a used car, when you can pay less for a new charger with Hemi. There is nothing you can do about this, since you signed everything, and it's your word against theirs.

My husband and I purchased a new Dodge Stratus RT in 2002 for our daughter from The Mall of GA Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep. There were issues at the time of sale and after the sale. The most disturbing problem we had was the paint on the car was fading away. The car was black but after 2 years of ownership the paint faded down to the primer. Going back to the dealer we were given the run-around. They would not take responsibility. So I went to the top. I contacted the President of Dodge Thomas La Sorda I was able to reach him through this email [email protected] I had old information and found Mr. Zetsch's email address. Mr. La Sorda contacted me from his cell phone that same evening. My daughter's car went into the shop for an entire new paint job. They replaced all the rubber molding, repaired a door ding and gave her a rental at their expense for 3 weeks along with a warranty on the paint. The car looks like new to this day. The District Manager for the dealer is Steve Morris @ 404) 406-2093 If you have a problem with a car dealer and have exhausted all avenues go to the top to be heard.

You didn't say if this is a used car, but I assume it is, since you asked if it had been wrecked. However, why did you wait until AFTER you signed the contract to thoroughly inspect the car? That wasn't too bright. Did you have the car inspected first? No, of course not, or you would've known about the defects. It could be the car was in an accident, and it was never reported, or Carfax hadn't caught up with it yet. Either case, it's no excuse to pay that much for a used car and not have it inspected before-hand, based on a USED CAR SALESMAN'S WORD???? You could try going to the DMV and complaining, and the AG's office in Georgia, but I doubt you will have any luck.
