Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

The following is a letter I recently sent to Manesh after taking his some of his classes, but terminating my association with him and EII capital. I want to say up front that some of his students seem to end up trading successfully, although I never met anyone who was in it long term with him.  He’s not for everyone and here’s why:

Manesh,

I wanted to get back to you after some time to reflect about my experiences. I’ve come to realize that this didn’t work for me in part, because I’m a social scientist. I have two degrees in human behavior and broad professional experiences in the field– So I found that using a purely technical style just isn’t comprehensive enough for me. And, although I’ve continued to work at it from all angles, I never had a single successful paper trade while following your instructions to the letter. Clearly, I need to focus my trading efforts and education elsewhere.

But the truth of the matter is that it came down to the thought of going to another weekend seminar and listening to your cynicism and witnessing the kind of demeaning, abusive condescension with which you address people at times. You act like too big of an abusive jackass for me to want to associate with. I get why you think you’re justified, I just don’t agree. (Manesh thinks he's preparing you for the harshness of the markets)

In my opinion, the problem lies in your approach to your motivational technique because it appears that you clearly get off on being sadistic. You act like a completely different kind of person in your meet up groups compared to what I witnessed at other times. So it’s become obvious to me that you misrepresent yourself when you’re in public. Men like Vince Lombardi, the models you play in your live sessions, built people up for the battle. He wasn’t acting like a bully, breaking people down, and undermining self-confidence, which is no fun at all. I couldn’t believe that you actually asked the group “who had fun yesterday” after witnessing the belittling attitude you were dispensing in class. Perhaps you should study up on an expert’s opinion on motivating others.

It seems to me that you’re a moderately well-off computer geek with poor people skills. So I prefer to associate with others from a different type of organization. And, I intend to post this letter online in as many forums as possible so as to let others know about my experiences so they don’t make the same mistake.

The way I see it is that since the ongoing education and online support make up a significant part of the course, and I won’t be graduating, which you and EII capitol clearly advocating taking a year or more, I’m done paying for classes because I refuse to support an organization like EII Capitol which thinks breaking people down is motivational and fun. There are other concerns and issues of course, but basically I was misled about the kind of person you pretend to be. I’ve known several semi- successful men like you, all of them have the same narcissistic, sociopathic MO and never really last because others eventually get it.

Most people wouldn’t lay it out like this, but I’ve put myself in a position where I don’t need anything from you, so I’m telling it like it is. In other words I don’t have to put up with your B.S. just to learn your trading methods. I did have a dream with you in it BTW. You were just like the man behind the curtain in the Wizard of Oz…He wasn’t a bad fellow, he just acted like one because he was uncertain of himself as a person underneath all of the noise. Any future correspondence should take place via email so it’s on record.

I am a financial analyst and a current student at EII Capital.  I definitely don’t agree with the reports I’ve just read.  I must say I do agree with the statement “his students seem to end up trading successfully.” Quote unquote.  Obviously, my instructor, Manesh’s approach and technique has had more of a positive result, than negative, per this statement.  The other report  from April 2013 is just not even worth responding to. Nonetheless, I will say that statement “Ask him for his trades he will never show you his trades because HE IS NOT A TRADER”.  Really? Not True.  I’m one of the BIGGEST skeptics I know, especially working with numbers and in the financial field on a daily basis.  I for one, went to a couple of Manesh’s presentations, before actually investing into his trading program months later.  He not only showed one of his trades, he gave the whole trading club a copy of his financial research of instruments from the year prior.

Another rip off report from an ex-student said, “I never had a single successful paper trade while following your instructions to the letter.” Quote unquote.  However, the key words are “to the letter”.  This can’t be true, because, if you’re a student of EII Capital, Manesh will be very direct and to the letter on his instructions.  At one point, he would fine us, if we didn’t follow them.  In addition to instructions, he would also send you a copy of the seminars via email.  If any students has issues, we can always review those sessions, and if we still have questions we reach out to our  mentors.  This is what I did.  Additionally, Manesh has also been considerate enough to meet with me in one-on-ones to assist me with the new platform I’m using.  Due to my extensive and demanding job needs, I’ve honestly fallen behind.  Yet, I still follow the chat room, engage with mentors, and Manesh has added me to new seminars for a refresher.  I’ve had successful trades mostly, but there’s more that I need to learn to optimize and cultivate my trading skills.

Yes, Manesh may not be for everyone, he’s a straight shooter (which doesn’t bother me at all).  I’d rather have an instructor who is going to tell me I’m wrong, and help me overcome those weaknesses, than one who will not help me thrive.  He will go over things with you, as much as needed. but he has low tolerance for unengaged students, especially if you are not willing to follow instructions.  Moreover, I’ve had a time learning the new platform, but the EII Capital team and Manesh have me convinced that investing in this program was a great step to become a successful trader.
