Marive King hired my wife to build a scale model for her college work. Yes, she claims to be an interior designer and she hadn't even finished her studies. Let alone being licensed (this was in 2003).

After my wife did the model for her she claimed she didn't like the work but that she would pay the next day if my wife went by her home.

When my wife went to claim her money she refused to pay and was very rude and almost violent with her.

This person robbed from her. If I were you I'd stay away from her.

This is FALSE. She is the RIP-OFF. I did not hire this person to build a model.

She ONLY cut the foam board for the roof of the model I was building.

SHE IS THE TRUE RIP-OFF please read for explanation:

I designed, cut and assembled all the parts of the 2 story interiors model, she did so poor, all the edges were irregular instead of straight. I paid her $20 of the agreed $60 and I had to buy more material and cut the roof my self. She did not deserve the $20 I paid her.

She tried to take me to small claims court but I saved her work and showed it to her along with the model I built. She knows she did a terrible job and still got paid. I wonder who is the true rip-off! in this case?.

At the time I was taking the required credits to take the NCIDQ test for my FL Interior Design license. I am fully aware of the licensing law and I respect my profession.
I never called my self an interior designer until I obtained my ID FL License, which as anyone who is  a licensed professional knows, it cost tremendous amount of time, dedication, work and money to get be licensed.

I can not believe people abuse the freedom of speech rights by using forums like this one that does not verify the information submitted by individuals that hide behind a name like "Rafael Miami". I quote a Ripoff Report statement in their site:
"With so many reports involved, we are not in a position to know which reports are accurate and which are not."

THIS IS UNFAIR.

I gave this lady $20 to help cut 2 pieces of foam board in the shape of squares with an opening in the center. The idea was to incorporate them as soffit in the ceiling of the second story of a model I BUILT. That way I could concentrate on building the ceiling for the first floor which had fiber optics in it. The pieces where so badly cut I had to throw them in the garbage. I ended up having to use new foam, and cut it myself. How many people do get help while they are working and in college with a part of a homework? I was generous and paid this lady $20. She wanted $60.00 for 2 foam squares that look like were cut with a butter knife instead of an X-acto knife. This is a very damaging, malicious report, I could publish the name of this lady which I know at the time was trying to advertise her services to architects and Interior Designers as a drafter. I graduated with top honors (4.0/4.0) from school, you do not graduate with those kind of grades if you do not show proficiency. I am a professional by experience and examination. I would appreciate if you will remove this unjustified report form this web site.
