Martin Memorial Hospital - where the elderly go "Home" ,i.e., Soylent Green. Mishandled parent's illness, admitted for one problem then dies from another contracted in hospital. Stuart Florida
My mother was admitted to Martin Memorial Hospital for a stroke. She contracted pneumonia there which aggrivated her dormant pulmonary fibrosis and ecoli was introduced into her lungs when she was placed on a ventilator. She was not treated for the pneumonia for the first 72 hours until my sister made a scene at the hospital. Mother died from complications due to pulmonary fibrosis.
