charles singleton and his manager Sarah V. upset customer mcdonough Georgia
I went into the store looking for a mattress, i stressed i need the company to haul off my old mattress. the manager stated no problem the company can do that and deliver the next day. I bought the mattress and stated that i need to get rid of my old mattress (old memories and my niece ...) time for a new one. i paid with my credit card but then i told the sales associate that i would write a check. he said he has already ran the credit card. i said okay i feel i should have wrote a check. the sales person completed the sale and went over the delivery process they were scheduled to come next day between 4-8. the delivery people did come the next day at 7:55pm. they came brought the new mattress (it looked different from the one i picked out in the store and i told them that) but i said anywho i instructed them where to put the new mattress. they stated that they could not remove the old mattress because it had a light stain on it. i stated why this is a child stain and i clean the mattress thats why its discolored. the guy took a picture and sent it to his boss (he took a close up snapshot of the image - which appeared more than what it was and i told him that. his boss said they could not take the mattress - new policy any stains they can not remove from the property. i said this plastic that this mattress is in that i did not order but will take because its here and i am tired of this you can put the old mattress in it and haul away. the guy stated they are not affliated with mattress firm and he will not ask can he do that... i said why not - i have paid for this and this is the first i am hearing of this. so i called the store at 8:15 and spoke with charles, i informed charles he knew i needed a new mattress and the old hauled away and i told him it was old and used and this is why i was purchasing a new one. charles said oh i forget this is a new policy that they just implemented and i started screaming and stated how dare you take my money and have me go through all of this for you to tell me now oh i forgot this is unprofessional and unfair to me i want my money back now so that i can go to a company that will handle business and put the customer first. Charles told me at that time that the refund is 7 days but he will put in the request tomorrow when the truck return. this was 11-28-2014 purchase 11-29 delivery 11-30-2014 the refund was supose to be reprocessed. its now 12-10-2014 and i have been told by 4 different people that i would have my money back and still to this day i do not . i found a company Ashley furniture and also american signature furniture who delivery me a mattrress - better quality, much cheaper and the took away my old mattess with no problems/issues or regrets and they came on time. i am done with mattress firm and i want my money back!!!! if i can find an attorney i will sue them!
