Mattresses For Less Deceptive Practices Used To Sell Matresses! Terrible Customer Service And Follow Through!! Webster Texas
I purchased a Serta Vera Wang mattress set, as a Christmas gift to myself, from Mattresses For Less in Webster, Texas, but a Serta Blue Nile Perfect Sleeper mattress was delivered with a Vera Wang box spring!!! I asked the delivery men (By the way, delivery was $65 for a two mile trip!) to wait while I called the store to clear things up. The guy who sold me the mattress (Brad - The owner's son.) told me that the mattress set delivered was the one I chose and purchased (Even my receipt says "Vera Wang Mattress Set"), and that he didn't know the difference between a Serta Perfect Sleeper and a Serta Vera Wang (Despite the fact that he seemed very knowledgeable and solicitous at the time of purchase).
He has refused to provide me with a Vera Wang mattress, and has even refused to provide me with a Serta Perfect Sleeper box spring!! (Although, I didn't want to make that compromise anyway!) He was unbending and unapologetic despite my being very upset, and the situation being obviously unfair. The positive is that the mattress I ended up with (Perfect Sleeper) is quite comfortable. This doesn't, however, negate the fact that I was deceived, lied to, and treated poorly. It also doesn't take away from the fact that I paid for a mix matched mattress set! I will never shop there again, and will let everyone know about their dishonorable business practices. Shame on you Mattresses For Less!!!
