Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

Went to a Maui Mastermind seminar, went over Levels of business and got together with other eager business owners like myself. At the end he asks everyone if they want to pay $5,000 down and its only $900 a month to get counsel from "very high powered folks who coach for us part time out of love and desire to give back."

I signed up for his coaching program 1st of December 2012. Spent $5,000, then January rolled around and another $900. Had I had a coaching session $5900 later?

NO

I deceided this wasn't the program for me since my expectations or should I say what David Finkel said I should expect out of the program did not happen at all. With a couple emails throughout the month and half, playing phone tag, me leaving numerous voice messgaes and not a single call back can lead a client astray. I told David I wasn't pleased with his program, I would like my money back. I nicely said that I was genuinly bummed that I never got a call back and that the communication from the coach (who was not David) had very poor communication skills. Did not come up with any resolution to an operations problem that he coaches other people about...! Ironic? During his seminars he may throw out losely "money back if you are not pleased with the program." Why would I say this is a scam or fraud? When someone is clever and a great influencial speaker and words are said but not owned up to, in other words a complete liar and money is involved. Thats a scam, and I got scammed. Taking from an email of his,  here is his response in regards to refuning me (and mind you I emailed January 2nd trying to get ahold of their "assistant" to cancel. I had signed up Dec 1!)

"I know you feel like you should also get a refund.

I am sorry that we disagree on this.  I understand your point of view, I hope you can understand ours.

For me I’ve learned that the way I want to make decisions like this, and the way I want my team to make decisions like this, is to let our company values be the filter through which we make them.  In this case it leads to an unpopular decision, but that is where it leads.

"One of our core company values is that “We do what we say we’ll do.  We hold other people accountable to the same standards.”

I saw another rip off report from a lady and she said something about $30k, in my case it's still a lot $5900, and I do not see justice at all to what has been done. If you are researching this company before investing your hard earned money for business coaching, I would take this ripoff report to heart and ask yourself if you would be okay with less coaching to what will be promised to you? And if say like me you give them the money and believe that you could get your money back if you are not satisfied, here is an example that just happened not long ago, being vocal about their no-refund policy. Bate and switch. There are so many coaching programs out there, and I joined an amazing one thru a popular organization, SCORE, but my point to the business owner like myself, I recommend seeking other companies and look at their reviews and make sure they are blameless.  I take the time to write all this to try to avoid anyone else to feel ripped off and scammed and if it's just one person, well then 5 minutes of my day was worth it! Do your research!

Attorneys, Is there any way I can recover my money?

#2Consumer Suggestion

Sun, May 12, 2013

Let me give you a lesson in business, these seminars are always scams. They prey on less intelligent people (you) who think all they need is an "expert" to show them the tricks. Here's a suggestion. WORK HARDER THAN YOU HOPE!!

Oh yeah, that will be $5900.00
