MAYOWA F ODUSANYA ATTORNEY RIPPED ME OFF! TAMPA Florida
WOW! I had no idea Mayowa was like this. Actually yes I can. I hired him 2 years ago for a case, he verbally said after I pay $1,000 he would take on my case on continuous because he said he knew I would win. He then lied later on saying he doesn't remember saying that and I owed him the balance of the $4,000 to continue the case. I ended up not continuing the case with him. I should've never thought about contacting him again, but after 2 years I needed was two letters of Cease and Decit mailed and emailed to individuals. I contacted him the end of May 2016, he had me come down to his office and I paid him upfront in an office, signed an agreement and he said he would be working on the case that next week.
I asked him to send me all the commincations between him and the people he was going after. I never received them. With in 6 weeks I tried to communicate with him to find out the status of the case. He spoke to me a couple of times and then kept promising the cases would be done soon, but no one has responded to his letters and that he will send another set of letters that sound more direct.I again, kept asking for the proof of his letters being mailed and emailed, he promosed he was send them and he apologized for the "oversight".
As the weeks contniued, I still saw the information up that he was suppose to be having removed off online. As I kept calling to speak with him, he never answered and only text back saying he was in a meeting or a depo and that he would return my calls. He never did. He kept blowing me off saying he's still waiting to hear their responses.
After the 6th week, I got fed up and said he was being unprofessional not communicating with me, and he's avoiding speaking to me about my status of my cases. I asked him to send me the proof of his correspondences with the dates because I became suspious that nothing had been done and thats why he was avoiding me. I have all the proof via text messages of empty promises of him saying he will call me back, and that I would receive my proof of his work since I STILL had nothing. Instead of apologizing for his "oversight" and bad business etiquette and behaviors, he got super defensive and became extremely rude.
Going on and on about how I was disrespecting HIM!! After Ive been waiting for him to do his job for 6 weeks!!! I use to consider attorneys as business professionals, but after reading all of this attornery's text messages today, I no longer think they are. He was writing me like he was a guy I was asking for a favor or money from. I am so disappointed, I wasted my time casing this guy for what he promised, my money, and then to have him speak to me the way he did today. Im disgusted!!! He took no pride in working my case or that I was his client.
