After reading the above RipOffReport, we were able to locate Chris's account on iFriends. We have refunded the iFriends charges in question and have cancelled the account. If Chris has any further questions, we strongly encourage him to call our Customer Care department, which can be reached at 1-800-243-9726 (a toll-free call from the US). Representatives are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. In addition to iFriends, Chris mentions mc digi-group in his complaint. Our company is not associated in any way with mc digi-group. If Chris has received charges from that company, he will need to contact them directly to resolve the situation. When he created his iFriends account, Chris entered his personal information, including the credit card number, billing address, and email address. Chris was given the option to upgrade to a premium VIP membership. This membership includes a $6.95 fee, which was clearly stated in advance. Chris affirmatively chose to sign up for this premium membership. As a result of this selection, he was charged $6.95 for the premium membership he elected. Two hours after Chris submitted his RipOffReport, he accessed the iFriends website and submitted a request to have his account password emailed to him, which was done immediately, using the email address that Chris inputted when he created his account. As stated above, we have refunded the charges and cancelled the account, so if Chris wishes to have further access to the iFriends website, he will first need to contact our Customer Care department. Our company has an exemplary 11-year-record with all of the leading consumer protection agencies, and we are an industry leader in the development of model online consumer best practices. Every one of our web services is verified by TRUSTe to be on its sealholder list of "the most trustworthy online businesses."
