McAdden Group Lisa Loya, Promised a loan modification in Feb. 2010 - no update till now- Oct. 31, 2010 Los Angeles, California
We had been ripped off by this company: McAdden Co. All we wanted was a loan modification for our property in Nevada and to consolidate two mortgage loans at Bank of America. At the beginning everything seemed to be legitimate.
This company used all means they could (by sounding official and legit) to get a fee of $2,800 up front, which we did, with the promise that within six months or more (no definite date) we will get results. They explained that CPA and Legal Network will work for us and we were in contact for a while with a person named Brady. The e-mails stopped. We tried e-mailing Brady - but no answer. It's been nine months now and no communication.
We tried calling McAdden and all we got was a recording. We submitted all papers required and all communications stopped. We waited patiently until August but no communication whatsoever was given to us as to the status of our loan modification request. We plan to write both companies to inquire and find out why they do not at least give us an update of what they are supposed to be doing for us.
We think that these two companies are part of a loan modification scam. Beware of this sleek, smooth-talking company! We want our hard-earned money back. Is there an agency out there who can help us get our money back? We need the $2,800 we foolishly paid in February 2010 NOW!
