Okay YES they have gotten my order right several times at the Champa and 16th location Downtown Denver, BUT

for the THIRD time today - previous mistakes the last month, I said CHERRY pie and they give me APPLE pies. Since WHEN does "CHERRY" mean "APPLE"?

Now COME ON this is the EASIEST order to fill.

Grabbing a box and putting it in a bag. And the boxes have colors. They can't even get COLORS right?

PLUS, they are sure to cram it way down at the bottom so NO I'm not going to check it, meaning unpacking everything on the counter to check it with 10 people behind me at lunch hour.

YES I'm sure this sounds like a little insignificant thing to some of you, but I'm sure more of you agree with me you work hard all morning and this just ruins your meal. Then you have to sit at home or work eating something you don't want or knowing they wasted your time and money.

And the people who did this I'm really sure couldn't care less, and they'll keep doing it. Because really there is no consequences for doing it.

Start getting the fricking simple things right. PLEASE!

____________

Okay those of you who are going to say

- Oh poor baby you didn't get the right flavor there are kids starving in China

- They are just kids what do you want

- They make minimum wage what do you want

- You shouldn't eat there anyway it's bad for you

Just go ahead and take a hike, I don't care what you think, don't bother writing.

You should get what you order and pay for. Kids on minimum wage should strive for quality on their job, they are paid for it, those two things don't change that. My nutritional state is none of your beeswax thanks.

As a marketing and public liason for a Mcdonald's (far far away) I have to say your attitude is the exact reason the employees act this way.

More than likely you bring this presumed attitude in to the store and these supposed morons (very inappropriate of you by the way) pick up on it and respond accordingly.

No one wants to serve some guy who acts like a complete joke and brings this holier-than-thou attitude with them.

As to the gentleman who says it is time for customers to give these "lazy workers a kick in the pants" that is in fact not your job sir, that is mine and other management/mid management (in my case the RDM over Guest Services) job, and we handle it (normally) very often and take proper action. It is in no way your job and you need to mind your tone, and remember that no you are not the best thing sinced sliced bread.

Good evening.

I don't know why they choose to perform their jobs in such a fashion.  I've had all I want to take from them.  They do pull little stunts like putting your pies on the bottom to discourage you from checking.  They know what they are doing.

I was at Dairy Queen today and told the girl I needed white gravy.  She said "It is included."  I said, "yeah, I know it is included but when I ask for a dipping sauce someone thinks I don't want my gravy.  So I'm stating very clearly that I want both."  Then I checked my double to-go orders and neither had the requested dipping sauce.  Eyeing me, the clerk came over and plopped one container of dipping sauce.

I caught her, she knew what I wanted and didn't give it to me on purpose.  Then I had to tell her I needed two, not one.  I know what these fast food workers are doing, they are so pissed about being ignorant and dirty and unfit for any other jobs so they try to take it out on the public.  I hope they get fired and sit at home on the welfare so I don't have to look at them.

I agree with you, those lazy employees need to get their act together.  More and more we see on the news reports of people physically attacking Fast Food employees.  Trashing the establishment.  Why is this?  Are these people crazies?  HELL NO!!!  People are sick and tired of these workers and their attitudes.  It's a reasonable response, they have been driven to the edge by apathetic and lazy employees, what do they expect to happen?

Whose fault is it?  Management, Corporate, and all those at the higher levels.  They line their pockets with profits, and break the backs of the common worker.  They don't pay enough to retain competent people (they could) and that is the result they get.  Unionization, lawsuits and us holding them accountable is what it's going to take.  If the worker is too lazy to help themselves, it is high time the customer gives them a little kick in the pants.
