I find it interesting no one contacted our company for information before posting such negative coments on the web. To make a long story short let me provide the following information, all of which I can provide written documentation: 1-The cremated remains were delivered to the family on time as promised by registered mail. We have the signed postal receipt. 2-When the problem was reported the Better Business Bureau, (BBB), all documentation, contracts and files, were turned over to them, and the case was closed without further action or comment. 3-When the case was then reported to the State Licesnse Board (Consumer Affairs), again, all files were duplicated and turned over, and again, the file was closed without penalties, fines, or action. In summary, we were left to deal with a very angry, sad family member, trying to find relief for her pain, attempting to use us as her conduit. She refused to physically come in to the funeral home and make arrangements, so we accomodated her by fax, phone, and mail. We did everything possible to meet all her needs, and fulfilled all our commitments to her, on time. Unfortunately, no amount of servcie would be enough, and when it was all said and done, she unleashed her anger on us with unfounded accusations. We cleared our name and actions with every agency she turned to. In conclusion, while we understand there are some bad businessmen out there, we don't appreciate the vile in which we attacked without opportunity to respond, tarnishing our name and reputation without cause to find it posted on the inet several years later. If there is a rip-off, it is the terrible job of back stabbing this site allows unknown people to perform without verification.

You need to file a formal complaint with the State Agency in California that licenses funeral homes and morticians and file a complaint on the funeral home, the owner of the funeral home and the heartless yuppie who promised you that you would have your son's ashes... I am sorry you lost your son and I hope that you will have many happy memories of him when he was alive. And tell people , as MANY PEOPLE AS YOU CAN ABOUT THE TREATMENT YOU RECEIVED AT THIS FUNERAL HOME,INCLUDING THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU,etc. You can write letters of complaint to any Funeral Home associations in your state and raise enough good old fashioned ( Expletive deleted) that these people will think twice before they put any other family through the heartache that you obviously experienced. I am afraid the days of the professional, kind,m courteous funeral firector who cared about his customers are LONG GONE with the adoption of the "ethics" ( or lack thereof) of the "new economy" -- the same ethics that gave us the nightmare on Wall Street.
