You don't have to call the president of MCI to have a refund processed by AmericanFone. If you call us during business hours, we'll look at the account. If there is no usage on the card, we'll process a refund. Period. Our Toll Free Customer Care line is (800) 352-4340. We are open Monday through Friday, 7 AM to 5 PM Pacific Time. If there's a problem, call us and we'll handle it. We sell our calling cards through other telephone and web-based sales companies. These companies will offer one of our calling cards free to use for 30 days, after which charges are processed if the calling card is not canceled. ALL SALES CALLS ARE RECORDED, and NO customer's information is sent over to us unless we have the customer RECORDED ACCEPTING THE CALLING CARD. We are an honest company. We do not charge anything if the customer cancels the calling card within the 30 day agreement period. Even if the customer contacts us AFTER the 30 days (if they haven't used the calling card) we will STILL give them a full refund, even though we are not legally required to do so. And we will even process refunds as far back as SIX MONTHS. Understandably, AmericanFone will not take responsibility if a customer hasn't examined his or her own credit card statements for more than 6 months.

The Bush Administration plans on cancelling the "new funding" allocated by Congress. Bush and his Administration are well known for their pro-business (screw people any way you can) policy.
There are more former CEOs in this administration than any previous administration. Eventhough, as reported in The New Yorker, Almost none of the CEOs on the Bush team headed competitive, entrepreneurial businesses, you can expect a quid pro quo attitude of a policy of crony capitalism," where who one might know can get many reciprocal backs scratched.
Who is the big loser? The American Consumer is, in this ubiquitous "rich get richer" economic free-for-all that has just been given license to escalate.
The recent resignation of SEC Chairman Harvey Pitt, signals to the business community that the US economy is free pickin's for the proliferation of unethical business practices. Another signal to consumers will be who the President selects as our head business watchdog. Keep your ears to the ground. So as the holiday season approaches, more than anytime in the past 30 years... BUYERS MUST BEWARE!!!
