Merchant's Credit Guide ripoff Chicago Illinois
I received a letter dated 10/06/2004 from Ken Hughes who claims to be a representative of Merchant's Credit Guide Co. He claimed in the letter that the collection agency was representating a client called Pincale Credit Srevices who have purchased my defaulted account from SEARS and I owe them $2,169.85. There is only one problem, I never have had any sears account. I immediatedly sent them a dispute letter and have not heard since.
After reading a couple of similar complaints I am convinced this is a scam. I hope someone can put a stop to this harrasment once and for all.

i was crazy one night and said to myself call information in chicago is there a ken hughes listed yes 773-478-9367 is it him i think so voice sounds the same as messages left on my box every day. so everytime my phone rang i called this one angry person on other end finally, however two days now with no calls, also do not wait log your complaint with the federal trade commission now can be done on line, people do it now let rid ourself of ken hughes .
