My husband bought a car at Nation Auto Sales in Murfreesboro TN year 1996.He returned the car to National Ato Sales after paying up till he returned it he owed 1000.00 to have been able to keep it.They said no problem.Well before we knew it we started getting letters from Mercury Finance company stating that we owed them over a thousand dollars so we called Mercury Finance and said we dont owe you a dime we bought the car from National auto sales not you.We kept getting letters from mercury Finance saying we owed over 2000.00.So we were in the process of getting a house built we had to get a credit check Mercury Finance was on the credit report. So I wrote a letter to all credit buearus stating everything. We ended up getting our house. But I want to know how this is leagel for them to do this.

I went for a job presentation April 27 2004 at the Holiday Inn.The job was NMC Field Services.I was there for 2 hrs hired a babysitter to watch my little girl. They said I would have to pay a fee of 195.00 to start working they said it was The state of North Carolina That they do not charge a fee.Well when I got home I called the North Carolina Department Of insurance and they said there would be no reason for them to charge me that I do not have to be licensed to market there product. What this company does is sales memberships kind of like tripple A motor club to people and they sale benefits that pay small percentage of doctor visit and persciption medicine and for lawyer fees. They claimed we could sale two memberships a day five days a week for a whole year and make 62,000 dollors. They called me that night at 6:00 and asked me if I have any questions I said no.I told the guy that I contacted the department of insurance and she stated that I would not have to pay any money to Market there product.

The guy from NMC filed services said well I was going to tell you you did not qualify to work for their company. Can you say b.s. He would of said yes if I would of went along with it and gave him 195.00 to put in his pocket. I think they should pay me for wasting my time I paid a babysitter.I am very discussed with so called company scams like this out there.

several different stories on what the fee was for

I got a letter from the company stating what the fees are for I guess you have to be licensed to sale motor club memberships the cost for license is 30.00 they put a application fee off 20.00 on the letter so thats 50.00 well they are wanting 195.00 they want a background check and materials.I still did not get information on what kind of materials I will get. And remember I got told several different stories on what the fee was for. First of all the company did not charge a fee but the state of north carolina requires it and the cost for materials and background check all in the same sentence. Then it was for to market the product then it was for the application. Consumers be careful!
