On February 11, 2012, I bought 2 tickets to the James Taylor concert in Kansas City, July 21, 2012. I always go directly to the venue (in this case Starlight Theatre) and somehow I ended up on Metro Entertainment. I paid $350.66 for 2 tickets (137.00 for each ticket and the rest in shipping and fees).
Imagine my surprise when I opened the package and discovered the price on each ticket stated $65.00 + $14.50. The face value of these tickets were less than half the total price I paid. What a huge markup on the ticket itself (137.00 vs 65.00) and a huge markup for fees & add ons ($191.66).
It seems ludicrous that Metro Entertainment would grossly take advantage of people to mark up the price that much. What a scam! The only service I got was that Metro Entertainment printed the tickets & sent them to me. Believe me - I will not make this mistake again!!!
