MFS BOOK FULFILLMENT CENTER Bait and switch I was sold a set of 5 books but only sent 1 book Phoenix Arizona
I purchased some children's books from a college student who was selling these door-to-door in my neighborhood. He said that he was selling these in order to help pay for a trip to Europe.
I ordered a set of 5 books and was sent 1 book today. The single book was sent via USPS and there was no order form or company info inside the package. The only information I could see was the return address on the shipping label and that only included a PO box. I had to locate my original receipt so that I could contact the company via email (there is no telephone number anywhere on this receipt either.)
Someone did respond to my email and said that my original order only contained 1 book. I wrote a check for $55.00 (40.00 plus 15.00 shipping) and I am certain that I would never have paid $55.00 for a single children's book! The salesperson even suggested that I could keep some of the books for my kids and give away some of the books as a gift.
Do not do business with this company. The return address on the shipping label reads MFS Book Fulfillment Service but the invoice reads Prestige Sales USA with the same PO box and city and state.
