Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

My truck was towed into the shop for what we thought was a faulty ECM but after 2 days was determined to be a gear pump for fuel system wich was ordered day 5 - it was a weekend. The bleeder plug on top of fuel system was leaking and wouldn't tighten properly I forgot to tell the cummins shop in Virginia 5 days prior about this and would have had it fixed as they were working on fuel system earlier (superior shop).

My mechanic was going to drill out the hole and install a helicoil when it wouldn't work he decided to just tap the hole and install a plug wich is a lot cheaper than buying a new "fuel rail" $1300 wich sounded great to me! Fellow mechanics were impressed to his ability to drill and tap the hole without removing the part from motor, they were concerned about shavings in system!

After plug was installed in new threads and gear pump was put on the truck started with starting fluid but wouldn't idle or start on its own.Next day and they said truck was idling I picked it up and paid a $3700 bill this was down from a $5100 bill they gave me a break because it was just a gear pump and a plug.i must have paid for 25 hours of diagnoses.

Truck lacked power so replacd fuel filter truck wouldn't idle or start witfluid starting fluid, drove to MHC in little rock ar they disassembled fuel system and found every component full of shavings and immediately started taking pictures of parts.

MHC in tn. Said we are not going to take any responsibility because we found shavings in old gear pump, funny how cummins in Virginia never detected any 5 days earlier nor did MHC of TN mention in there remarks about pre existing shavings.

an estimate of $10,000 was told to me from MHC little rock to flush out and replace parts that are packed with shavings,MHC of TN now has offered $1500 towards labor for there part on this fiasco!i now had to rent a truck to make deliveries im a household goods mover and very late.

i am forced to take legal action against a company that refuses to take responsibility for there actions to create a problem that was non existent and absurdly expensive!
