Complaint Review: Michael J.Herringshaw - Warren Michigan

Dr. Michael turn my live up side down, I went to his office for regular cleaning I end with extracted tooth#7 and 2 teeth I can't chew anything on them. My story start when I went to Dr. Michael for the yearly cleaning in April 2008, after he cleaned my teeth he said I have to do filling to my three teeth and one of the was filled before 12 years and I didn't have any complaint about that tooth and I told that. He terrorized my he made me feel if I don't let him work on it my tooth something going to happen to my tooth .I told him your are the Dr you know better than me what should I do, he said I will take of the old filling and replace it with new filling and I will clean the other two #30 & 31. I asked him how much is going to cost spicily I don't have insurance and I am study to lean English and my husband full time student and I have two kids barely we can manage our budget and the Dr knows that. He said it will cast you $475 dollars I agree I made appointment in that time everybody looks very helpful and very nice. I went in May -01- 08 and he start to work in my teeth he opened the three teeth he went out than a few minutes the lady work in the office came and she told me you have to do root canal for the front tooth #7 because after the Dr clean it the tooth to weak and it will break any time I told her but the Dr didn't mention any thing a bout that before he start or tell me about any possibility that going to happen with aggressive tone she told my you don't have any option you bay right now $2000 dollars or you go out with hole teeth I was so scared and shake I don't knew what I have to do I was caring thinking how I get this money I ready took $$400 dollars form my friend . I called my husband. He was in his class I he told me use the credit card and I will see why this is happen and I knew we didn't have any money to bay back. They took the money and he starts working than appointment after anther he don in July 1 -08 of course I had a lot of pain during this time because the way he did to my teeth. Suddenly my tooth#7 start hurting me after two months it was in the weekend I can't handle the pain I went to the emergency room they told my I have infection in the root I told them I ready removed my root canal they advice me to go to the specialist in Monday I called Dr. Michael office they didn't respond to my calls my husband left messages for them know if they didn't see me he will take my to anther Dr and they going to be there fault. I called anther dentist I went around 12:30 PM and he let me know I have to go to specialist because my tooth is damage 1- the root canal is field 2-there is hole in the side of my tooth to the bone, around 4:00 pm the Dr. Michael office called me to say we can't see you today but you can came tomorrow when I went the next day my husband told me don't tell them you went to the dentist yesterday to see what they going to say, they did X-ray and the nurse start taking said you have baby tooth it dose come out yet and she start say it is not the Dr. fault I get so mad and I say listen let the Dr. see me and took I am not stupid I ready went to different Dr she said you did I said yes and she went the doctor and he came and I am sorry you have root canal field he said I will sand you to specialist and I will call him and we go from there he sand me when I asked him who going to bay, he refuse to bay for the specialist I went to the specialist and he said I have to do surgery to my tooth.

After I left the office I went to Dr. Michael and I gave them the card for the specialist and I asked her to give it to Dr. Michael and let him know I ready went and I will wait for his call. I wait for5 days and I went to anther specialist he told me I can't wait spicily after I fished the antibiotic they gave me from the emergency room I told him my period is late he told me I have to be sure if I am pregnant or not because they can do any surgery if I am pregnant. I went to OBGYN and I was month and half and she said I can't do the surgery in that time, I went called the specialist a bout what happen and he told me I have to go to dentist because the infection I went dental school and they give me antibiotic and they told me after I finish it I have to go back to extract my because I can't do any surgery and they can't gave me any more antibiotic I went and the sand me to doctor they said she will do it fast and do the flipper to me fast because the flipper take time if they do it for me and because it is a front tooth. I went and extracted my tooth and replace bone it was damage. I call a lawyer and she asked me for my record I called Dr. Michael they refuse to gave it to me and the lawyer advice me to sand registered mail asking him to gave me my record He didn't respond to me latter after 20 days I call the lawyer and she advice me to call dental associate and complaint for he did not gave me the record and after that Dr. Michael office called to ask about how I am doing my husband tell them he want my record and they say ok when we went we took papers and went to the lawyer she said there is no X-ray for the tooth before the Dr. work in and he did not even mentioned me he did root canal for you. My husband called Dr. Michael and as usual no respond after couple days they call and they say Dr. Michael want to see us and they give us time when we went after waiting Dr. Michael came out and said that you record and I took the papers I said but where is my X-rays before you start woke in my tooth he said that what I have he went and my husband asked the office he said what a bout the appointment she said there is no appointment any more because you call the dental associates. My husband called the lawyer and we went and she said you know you have a cause but I is not big I do want to waist time for with it. We look for different lawyers and the only one is responding he out of the state. I feel a lot of pain I can't eat with the flipper in my mouth I have to take it of the first time I want to eat with my kids I took it out and my laughter was scared she told me please mom hide it looks a scary and my son told her that ok mom took the baby tooth and she put that unit anther one grows it is painful to me and embarrassing I can't go any where with out the flipper, I should be happy in my pregnancy but it posit I am so worry what should I do after I have a baby where I can get the money I still try to bay what I took for the doctor and specialist, the flipper cost me by it self $500, and the evaluation the doctor give me it will cost me around $7000-10,095.Finally sorry for the writing but that the best I can do I still try to lean English and I want to thank Tiffany Detroit, Michigan for writing her complaint and thank you for this web site, and please if any one can help me and tall me what should I do to E-mail me (((email redacted)))
