Midland Credit Management Reporting TIME BARRED Acct twice to the credit bureaus with incorrect info! ripoff San Diego California
I disputed this account with the "BIG 3" and I got a response from Equifax today. MCM is reporting on the same FCNB-NEWP account twice. All information is the exact same on the accounts with the folowing exception, on the first entry the balance is $902, but on the second it is $903.
This account is time barred, and I have already disputed this once with the CBR's. I spoke to Mia at Equifax today, and started a new investigation. Since this is a real mess that MCM has made, I have submitted a request to Equifax to remove the information, I have sent a C&D letter to MCM, and am right now in the process of filing complaints with BBB, FTC, and the AG.
This debt was never validated, either. Maybe if enough compaints are filed against these bottom-feeders, something will be done when they blatantly violate the FDCPA, FCRA, etc.
