I'm from Calif and was hired to drive for Midwest, was told they needed me in Mo right then. was told to fly out to Mo and would be paid bacl for my airfare. well how could they do that when all there payroll checks are made of rubber. it cost me to work for this company. getting fuel for your truck was a all day affair.
no matter what working for midwest took money from you instead of giving you money they owe me a large sum of money. the labor board here in Calif is looking for them and we will find them. don't worried jessie and kenny it will catch up to you and when it all dose you wont be sitting there working others and not paying you will be doing time

Thank you for the information. The labor commissioner here in calif sent me a letter dated $/23/07 saying there is no company by the name of Midwest frieght logisties inc in Kansas City Mo I am doing what ever I can to get a correct address for these people they owe me over $6,000 and I really would like to get what is owed to me and the charges drop for the bad checks so if anyone has a address for them i would really appreciate it thank you Diane jeff if you read this please get in touch (((ROR REDACTED INFO FOR SECURITY PURPOSES))) CLICK here to see why Rip-off Report, as a matter of policy, deleted either a phone number, link or e-mail address from this Report.

Diane, Are you saying these people are in hiding? Are they still operating trucks? You can go to the FMCSA website and get all info on them, as well as file a complaint. That DOT/MC number follows them even if they close down that business and open another one. Take them to small claims court right away and get a judgement, then file liens on all equipment they own. As far as them "doing time" as you stated, that is highly unlikely, as owing money is not criminal. Too many red flags here! The first one was you paying your own airfare up front to travel FOR them! This should have been a no go. The second is the "rubber checks". Well, MOST companies use either direct deposit or they load your pay on your COMDATA card. Another big red flag. The third is the fuel problem. The very first time I waste my time trying to get money from the company for fuel, is when I park the truck and get on a bus. I will giv any company the first hour with a problem, after that they need to pay me. Good luck in getting your money!
