Miller-Motte College False Information, Not Helpful, Discouraging Wilmington North Carolina
I am a former Miller-Motte College student, I graduated in 2014 with an associate degree in Electronic Medical Records, for the 2 years, I found out how much more classes I would need to take to get a better understanding of Medical Coding, Miller-Motte offered two classes, one basics of Medical coding and the other was advance coding. Before starting at Miller-Motte, I was told how long it would take to get my degree, and how easy it would be to find jobs afterwards, and part of the contract was for when student graduated, the career services would help former students find jobs in their field. For my experience, it was terrible, every single time I would reach out to them for assistant, they would either change hands with employees and I would be thrown under the bus and forgetton about, I reached out to them 3-4 times and not once did they assist. After graduating I found out that we need at least 2 years of previous experience in the Medical Records field, the most offered by miller-motte was a 12 week intership with one of the local doctor's offices or hospital. Their commericals are false avertisement, I feel all they care about it putting students in huge debts, since I can't find work in the field I graduated with, I'm having to work for my family's business, which is a better deal anyways, but I am not happy with the fact that now I'm in a debt because of Miller-Motte, I'd like to see this school shut down and everyone's not just mine, student loans to be forgiven. I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THIS COLLEGE TO ANYONE FOR THE EXPERIENCE I HAVE GOTTEN FROM THEM.
