Millie Schiffer Maltese breeder promised me a show dog and sent one with no testicles and wont refund my money Monogahelia Pennsylvania
I bought and paid for a show dog from Millie Schiffer about 3 mos ago and when he got to the handler who she wanted to show the dog -for me-he had no testicles. You cannot show a dog without testicles. upon buying the dog It was agreed that I would show him and get his championship before I bred him. The handler that Millie had the dog sent to got a vets report stating there were no testicles-so I have proof. He also had a really bad ear infection and was matted.
Of course I was shocked beyond belief that she would do this being a "so-called "show breeder" with a supposed good reputation. When I contacted her about this problem she said "I didn't know" How can you sell a dog as a show dog and not check the testicles for yourself before sending him off??? She said she would do whatever I wanted about the matter and I told her I wanted my money back- she said she would send it back via paypal like the money was sent to her.
After 2 ior 3 weeks I had no refund and when I talked with the handler she said Millie had sold that dog and got an enormous price for him because the lady who had bought the dog had called her(the handler) and was upset because Millie had told the customer that she (handler) was the breeder. We were both amazed that Millie would lie about this and WHY??? So it has been 3 mos and I have not gotten my money back. Every time I have texted her or called her she just starts telling me what an ordeal she is going through.
So I have given her 3 mos to get things together but I have not gotten one cent of my money back. I also paid $350.00 for a plane ride to the handler for a dog that had no potential as a show dog. The lady whom did buy the dog for a pet was very upset that she paid that much for a dog that was going to have to have surgery. I don't know how much she paid but I paid $2850.00(not counting the plane ride.)
I don't know how Millie has stayed in business doing things like this-I suspect she tells them about all her troubles and they feel sorry for her. But there is no excuse for the way she did me and the handler. I have never heard so many lies in my life. She just makes them up as she goes. But this is just being a thief-taking my money and now I have no show dog or the money to buy one. I just want my money back and hope no one else falls victim to Millie and her husband.
