MLRS Lies and Excuses...and more lies M, British Columbia
russel birch, aka mlrs, lied to us at every turn. we hired him for a simple backyard improvement project and hoped for a quick 3-4 week completion. instead we waited over 3 months, during which time we heard every excuse known to man! injury, family problems, worker problems, housing changes, sub-contractors disappearing into thin air, identity theft, leaving town for the weekend, oh and my personal favorite, bankruptcy of a client has forced him to seek additional funds to buy materials....which i don't understand since he collected 50% up front for materials and supplies. obviously this gut is taking money from the 'next' sucker and paying the 'last' sucker.
did i mention the lies? they were just unbeleivable. also, he acts as though he cares about doing a good job, which he might, but he loses all credibility with the massive lies!!!
i warn everyone and anyone, do not hire this con artist! he is the bernie madoff of contractors!
