Molly Maid of Massapequa Ruined my floors. Never called back to give me the estimate. Massapequa New York
We had the cleaning service from Molly Maid in our home back in 2012. The first time they came to clean they broke our glass door. They took pictures, the owner, Annmarie, came as well to see the damage. She said we have to cover the expense and then give her the bill so she could put an insurance claim. We never proceeded to fix the door and let it be.
Then, months later, the girls scratched the floor in one of the bedrooms by moving the dresser. It was a huge scratch about 4 inches long right when you walk in the room. So it is hard to miss...They told us what had happened and let the owner know as well.
She never showed up to check or talk to us. She cancelled once on me and just didn't show up the second time.
Finally, about a month after this accident they did such a horrible job cleaning so we could not take it any more. So we called and cancelled the service.
Annmarie came in to see us within 2-3 days claiming she's been busy.. We refused the switch of the team service but showed the scratch. She used the marker to cover it and said she would call us back with some phone numbers to the wood floor specialists she knew for years. We never received a call back from her...
