we bought a truck from moms auto sales and paid cash up front for it,the sales men new he had no title for it and still sold it to us,its been 8 weeks sense the purchase and they still have not provided a tiltle to it.

they told my husband that its a kentucky title and their not making no effort to get it and they wont give are money back nor will they wont take the truck back and give us another one for the same value and that legal and has a ohio title to it..weve been battleing this out with for a long while now and now all the trucks good for is to look at..

well guess what? i called my attorneys and they told me to contact the attorney generals office,so i did and i filed a report with them, a couple days went by and well a man from the attorney generals office called me and told me that mos is a part of a program where they basically have 40 days from the day a person purchas a veichal to get the title, when the law states they have 30 days, well this program allows them to take 40,and i asked this guy i asked him dont they have to at least be honest with the coustomer about the veichal and the title and he said no,they dont have to be truethful with you. we were on the 36th day and well he told me if it went past the 40th moms would have to give us are money back on the truck, well 2 more days went by and the same man called me back from the attorney gernerals office and told me that they found our title and it was presently put in my husbands name, so my phone call to them had made a impression cause we got are title to the truck along with some extras for having to go through all this, and yes shelia i agree they are full of it and we told them we no longer wish to do bussniess with them and that we will let people know about how thier nothing but full of it and they like to rip people off.. thanks nichole

Who ever told you to go to moms auto gave you a bad suggestion they sell piece of *&*& vehicles anyway. I don't even think they mechanics hhve licenes to do work on cars. They sell cars that do even work like they should. I feel sorry for you and I hope you get what you want. I would sue them. good luck

Nichole, every car dealer is bonded, just file a claim!

Nichole, This is very easy to deal with. Go to the DMV and file a complaint against the dealer and find out who bonds their dealer's license. Now file a claim with the bonding company along with your affidavit of complaint. Finally, go to your local police dept and file a criminal complaint against them. They knowingly sold a vehicle without obtaining a title report on it. This is considered a stolen vehicle. You might want to get a professional person to write your letters for you for the most impact.
