Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
In november of 2003 I was surfing the net trying to find a lender and mt mortgage contacted me by phone and said that we were pre-approved for a loan and all I needed to do is send 300.00 dollars with my paper work and they would start the process of course I thought it was to good to be true I told veronica from mt mortgage that i would have to talk with my husband and I would call her back in a couple of days. she ended up calling me back 3 days later I of course told her we havent made up our mind yet and she said that we didnt have to much time because that the lender had only so much for us!

I contacted the state of vermont banking and insurance to inquire about mt mortgage and they said that they havent had any complaints on them but they have only been in business for a year or so! So we went a head with it! I gave them my checking info over the phone they said I would get my money back after we close on a home! They sent me email and told me that I needed to redate everything for nov.13 and that they needed all of my tax info and past pay stubs. It took me 2 months to gather all the information that they requested but I sent it to them on march 8,04.

I waited at least a week and then I called and left a message for some one to call me back and I have emailed 2 times and have yet to hear from them! I called again on wed march 24, 04 and it said that they were having technical difficulties. I called again on friday march 26, 04 and they again were having technical difficulties.

I was surfing the web on sat. march 27th to show my mom the houses that we were interested in and then I went to mt mortgage to the calculator to show her what my payments would be and it would give me the amount but of course I thought it was because they were having problems with there phone.

So today march 28th I wanted to show my husband the houses and I again went to mt mortgage to the calculator and it said web site not found. I knew then that something was fishey because i have saved them to my favorite places and have never had a problem like that, before!

so I typed in mtmortgage on line and it brought up mt mortgage ripoff! I read the report and i was so upset and could not belive it, i still can't belive it- my dreams of owning my own home are gone! All because of them!!!

"i still can't belive it- my dreams of owning my own home are gone! All because of them!!!" I can't believe you are willing to give up your dream of home ownership over a $300 setback. Their are plenty of large reputable mortage companies out there that can handle your request.

Jana, Money Tree has been shut down. Please call Det King at the Woodstock PD his # is 770-592-6010. The FBI is also involed. You need to go to the FBI website www.ic3.gov and file your compaint with them concerning internet fraud. Please also, read the other Money Tree postings. Money Tree was served search warrants in Mid March. The PD and FBI confiscated their computers and files. Get on the victim list and hang in there. If you want more info, email me@ [email protected]. I am trying to get as much on them as I can and hopefully get another class action on them.
