Monroe Auto Body & Mechanic Shop Not being a man of his word. Williamstown New Jersey
Took my car up from being hit and got back more than I bargained for. Told Scott "the owner" my steering wheel from the first time I took it to him it was making a popping noise. I received my car back two weeks later with the same problem. Took it back and made me pay $65.00 because he claimed it wasn't part of the accident.
Told me he took my steering column apart,but never did. The only way I know that is he changed the time on my radio, but left all my radio stations programed. To take the sterring column off you need to disconect the battery in which the radio would reset.
This isn't the only problem. Each person in the shop comes up with a different story. Even the mechanic told me he should of said it was part of the accident just to make me happy.
What kind of buisness are they really running. I wouldn't take my bicycle to them now.

An answer to your response I then took my car back to the dealership and they told me my steering colum was going to be replaced due to a hard impact bump. Which the car was hit on that exact side. If I was so wrong why did the insurance company refund a check directly to me for the $65.00 charge. Which this proves this was part of the accident. Your mechanic Ty clearly stated in front of my father and myself "That if he would have talked to me sooner he would have said it was part of the accident." Your husband shop put a car on the road which clearly had a problem from the accident that was unsafe.

TO TOUR RESPONSE DIANE I HAVE NEVER HAD THE PLEASURE OF MEETING YOU ONLY SPEAKING TO YOU OVER THE PHONE.YOUR INSURANCE COMPANY ASKED US TO DO AN INSPECTION ON YOUR VEHICLE,DO TO AN AUTO ACCIDENT YOU HAD BEEN IN.WE WERE MORE THAN HAPPY TO DO THAT FOR YOU AND YOUR HUSBAND.BUT PLEASE DO REMEMBER WE DID NOT WRECK THE CAR WE ONLY TRY TO HELP FIX THE CARS.PEOPLE SOMETIMES TAKE A LITTLE AGRESSION OUT ON THE WRONG PEOPLE!
