Monte Stettin Homo Erectus LLC ruthless deceptive lying cheating,scamming scumbag builder! Beverly Hills california
I was warned about this builder even before I had the misfortune of even moving in, saying he is a bully, ruthless and extremely litigious! Wow! They were completely accurate! Do not rent or purchase ANY property from this builder because his townhomes are not EVEN BUILT UP TO CODE! They are built below grade and have SEVERE PLUMBING and flooding FLOODING ISSUES. After you move in, you will be coerced into repairing any damages to the property no matter what! Upon moving out of the property in West Hollywood, California, I had a demand letter posted on my door demanding well over $100,00 in repairs to this property.
Mr. Monte Stettin demanded all brand new cabinets, all brand new countertops, all brand new flooring, all brand new doors, he wanted the entire house completely repainted, he wanted a new deck and he wanted to have his garage completely recoated all on MY DIME! He essentially wanted a BRAND NEW REMODEL ON MY MONEY! Unfortunately through a major loophole in his misleading contract, he extracted from me a WHOPPING $250,000 from me and seized my assets with the help of his attorney buddy.
I have lost my ENTIRE LIFES SAVINGS FROM THIS CORRUPT BUILDER, and now suffer with Post Traumatic Stress Syndrome as a result of this horrendous ordeal. DO NOT DO NOT do any business with this con artist! He belongs in a federal prison! I have all the court documents to back up this posting!

Linda Tallon leased a townhome from our company under false pretenses. She claimed her husband's income and name as a tenant, though we later discovered he was ignorant of her duplicity. During her tenancy she flooded our building and did serious damage. Her animals damaged our floors and cabinetry. She was not a clean and neat tenant and in fact the very grout in the tile floors in the building had turned black with filth, grime, anbd perhaps waste from her pets. She had altercations with other tenants who involved local police in West Hollywood California. Subsequently, we were forced to evict her and sue for damages. Though we offered to settle our lawsuit numerous times, she refused and compelled us to continue a suit with a jury trial at her insistence, which created even greater financial and emotional damage for us.
We repaired the structure at great expense, lost rental income, and had to pay large legal fees. Utlimately, Ms. Tallon (aka) Linda Shakkour lost her case in Santa Monica Superior Court, and judgment was found in our favor in the amount of approximately $200,000 USD and interest. Ms. Tallon then disappeared. Fortunately we were able to contact her ex husband who still had an outstanding balance on his divorce settlement with her, and successfully collected her debt from him. He later told us that he had to call the police to forcibly eject her from his place of business prior to her leaving California. If the author of this posting has court documents, we would welcome the publication of the jury's verdict and subsequent judgments in our favor.
We have had nothing but happy tenants before and since Ms. Tallon's occupancy and the pain and agony we went through.
