Escrowfr.com Ripoff As Escrow Account Paris France ripoff using fake escrow company to secure funds Georgia Paris France
I saw a laptop for sale on Amazon.com. I contacted the seller Morgan Newton at [email protected]. He suggested using escrowfr.com as a way of handling the transaction.
I sent the funds via Western Union for laptop. After verifying the money had been sent the website went down.
I had a friend do a check on escrowfr.com, and he discovered the website had only been register for 11 days and the hosting company was in Bejing China.
The name I was given was Morgan Newton and the add on Amazon said he was located in Georgia. However the email was spoofed from somewhere in Conneticut.
The person operating as Morgan Newton at [email protected] does not respond to any emails. The company known as escrowfr.com is back online as of tonight 9/4/04; however, they have not answered any of my responses for a refund, etc...
