Mosaic Dallas - Trigon Management - Hamilton Properties Overall Lack of Dog Friendly property as advertised and repair issues Dallas Texas
When we viewed Mosaic we were impressed by the large number of dogs at the property. It was the only reason we were attracted to the building.
After moving in we found out that the building is not dog friendly at all. The construction is not sufficient for dogs....The walls are very thin, so if a dog or human makes the slightest noise it is heard next door. Every morning we hear the neighbors baby crying. The concrete floors echo to the floor below you and cause issues with bigger dogs. It was suggested by a neighbor that we purchase doggie shoes to help curb the clicking sound of their nails on the concrete. We feel like we have to keep our dogs locked in their crates or try to confine them to the couch or the bed all day as not to disturb the residents under us.
If the issues with the dogs were not bad enough, we have had a repair request in for over a month that has yet to be addressed. Once we moved in we found out that maintenance was not 24 hours as told to us by the leasing agent. Maintenance staff only works Monday - Friday. The workmanship in our apartment was completely shoddy...issues with windows and doors howling when it was windy etc.
Overall I would think twice about moving into a building like the Mosaic. It looks great on the outside but once you get to the nitty gritty its not worth the amount you pay for it.
