Motovelo Bicycle Engins are a RIPOFF company. They sent my daughter a box with USED parts. When I called to inquire about it I was told to F myself by the head guy AYDIN OZAN. Now if you call before or after the store hours you will hear a long recording of how they stand by their product and customer service. From the first words of telling this guy that I recieved USED parts he called me a f-en liar and I was full of Sh-t. Great service and great product, NOT. If you're looking for a motor to put on your bicycle DON'T go to them. MOTOVELO.US - 805-637-1746. They will sell you USED parts and curse you out. Nice service.

I am the owner of the company Motovelo, and am shocked to read this report. The 'gentleman' in question is nothing but an unscrupulous prevaricator looking to take advantage of our free parts exchange program.
We only have new parts. Our products come directly from the factory in China, and are then stored in our warehouse, and ultimately shipped to the end customer. There is no middle man. There is also no possible way that any parts could be used. The ONLY imaginable senario is that sometimes UPS damages our packages, and the parts get bumped around too much. For this reason, we offer a free 3 day exchange- no questions asked.
In the first 3 days after receiving your Motovelo engine kit, you may request a FREE parts replacement if ANYTHING is damaged, scratched, or bent/broken in any way.
Vinnie, being the deceitful perjurer he has shown to be, called me OVER A MONTH after getting the product delivered and said that some of the items were scratched and looked used. I explained that sometimes happens, nothing can possibly be used, but during shipping things could get scratched around. I then told him we can replace the parts for free if within the allotted time-frame. After looking up his order, I noted that the free replacement period has expired (over a month ago), and told him the best I could do is offer a discount on replacements. (Nothing was damaged to the point that the kit would not work, there were just some surface scratches. That's it.)
When I told him that, he flipped out on me. Unfortunately there's nothing I can do in a situation like that, and told him you're not going to talk to me like that. He continued to yell at me to the point I finally just hung up after yelling back at him. So of course he then comes online and makes up a bunch of BS.
Anyone who is interested in a bicycle engine kit is encouraged to call us anytime @ 805-637-1746 and ask all the questions you might have. We always help our customers, and take the time to answer everyones inquiries 100%. We have been in business for years and built and sold thousands of engine packages and bikes. And if anyone ever has a problem, let us work out a solution- don't just blow up and yell an myself or my guys, we're working hard to innovate and bring the fastest and most reliable alternative transportation methods to you, so being polite goes a long way.
