I hired Mr. Mover to move me. They sent Mike and Travis, whom apparently just started. I asked them if they were insured and they said Yes, of course we are. In the move, I had to help them with several objects.  When they loaded my grandfather clock on the truck, they did not secure it properly. The clock fell over in transport, all of 12 miles. It is destroyed. Mike called the office.  I talked to them and they demanded payment and assure me that everything would be alright. Just file a claim and we will turn it into our insurance company. We did that the same day - March 23, 2015. I didn't hear anything so on April 2nd I called. They said I should hear something by april 6th. Well I didn't.In the meantime, I text the Howard Miller clock company. I requested the value of the clock. I have an email from them stating the value of the clock when purchased new in 1995 was $2780. That model is not made today but to replace it with a simular model today is $5947. After several attempts to contact Mr Mover between April 6th through April 9th, they finally called back.  They said the clock was worth $600. And they would process a claim for $140. That is not even a reasonable settlement. Insurance was never discussed nor did they ever ask me if I would like to purchase addtional insurance. Which I would have done. I had my propetyb moved from Minnesota 15 months ago without any issues.  They can't even move it 12 miles without destroying something. This is the worst company I have ever dealt with.
