Mr Quick Tune Owner completely out of control. Irate Cussing and physically pushed me bartlett, Tennessee
My daughters car was taken to Mr. Quick tune to have the fan to her air conditioner worked on. Received a call during the day saying they no longer made the part to repair the car, but if you tapped on the fan it would come on. Owner said he thought he could take it apart and clean it up and fix the problem. Later that afternoon my daughter and I went to pick up the car. I asked the man if he was the person who fixed the car. He said well I told yall they no longer make the parts. I asked about getting one from like a pull a part place. His response was its an older car and to be honest it wasnt a popular model, they didnt sell many of them, they really were a crappy car. I said its not a crappy car it runs fine. I asked if he was gonna warranty the work because $291 was a lot of money to pay if it stopped working in 2 days. He did say he would warranty it but never told me for how long. He told me the time to bicker about the price was when he gave the estimate not after he did the work. I told him I wasnt bickering about the price I just wanted to know how long he was gonna warranty the work. He became very irate and told me I tell you what I'll undo what I did and you can take it somewhere else. I told him he wasnt going to touch the car.
At this point he was so angry i was afraid he would totally do something to screw up the car. He continuously got louder I told my daughter to call the police. I told her to call her dad and he could decide what to do because he was the one paying for the repair. He heard the entire conversation of this man cussing me and telling me the car was a f--ing piece of sh--. He physically grabbed my arm shoved me away from the car got in and threw the car in reverse and took it around back to undo his work. Lady in the office called the police and he said he could chose whose cars he wanted to fix. He told them i slapped him across the face which I did not. I told him I dont see how he stays in business if that is how he treats his customers. He told the police you can see on my receipts I warranty my work for 90 days. He never once said that to me. I dont think he was confident in what he had done, so he didnt want to warranty it. That is why he undid it. Ended up I left with the car taken back apart and he was not paid. Took the car to my normal car care place and was charged $136 total with a 12 month 12,000 mile warranty. where he was charging $291.
