I took my Saab to Mr. Transmission in Glenwood Springs, the transmission was totally trashed. the manager gave me an estimate of $3300.00. He allowed me to pay it off in three installments. It took them 5 weeks to repair it. I was broke for 4 months. He gave me a 12 month or 12000 mile warranty.

Two weeks and 200 miles before the warranty was up the transmission experienced a dramatic jerk upon exiting the highway. It continued to drive OK so we proceeded to our vacation destination. I was 400 miles away from Glenwood Springs. Within the next week the transmission slowly started to detererate. I took it back to Mr. Transmission. He called to tell me that the transmission was Trashed Again!
He then told me that he would not honor the warranty but would give me a discount on the repairs..$2000.00!
Great Thanks! He proceeded to rebuild the transmission instead of ordering a replacement.  He kept it for almost FIVE weeks. I went to pick it up and the manager was not there as promised so I took the car with intention of coming back to arrange payment. To my dismay the transmission was not repaired. I had to take it to a Saab repair shop and they found that it was still Trashed!
I had to get my car fixed so I could get to work. I had the Saab guys fix it. It cost me $3500.00!

I took the Mr. Transmission guys to small claims. The judge had to honor the warranty and I got nothing.
What kind of business man won't stand behind his work that close to the warrranty? Dishonest Worms thats who! It has taken me a year to climb out of transmission He.

from these kinda places.

A RIPOFF EVERY TIME!

Isn't it funny how the "repaired" trans started acting up right around the end of the warranty period?

If you paid by card, see if you can do a chargeback, if it's not to late.

Next time, just get a new or used transmission and have it installed at a reputable place, you will save money and headache.

And keep a check on your fluid.
