MWI Connections credit card rip-off! False billings. Stamford Connecticut
I just checked my credit card bill (American Express) and saw that I had a purchase from MWI Connections based out of Conneticut for $159.95 USD. Since last year I got a fraudulent purchase from another company in the states, I immediately figured it must be one.
I logged onto ripoffreport.com and did a search for MWI Connections... sure enough many others from around the world are getting ripped off just like myself.
When you go to MWIconnections.com it brings you to the well known life insurance company website.... interesting how a multi-million dollar company needs to commit fraud in order to make money.
Anyways... I am cancelling my amex card, and it seems that not only people in the states are affected, because I live in Canada. Why is it that all the fraudulent purchases I get are always from a place in the states? are companies that bad off from the recession that they need to rip people off from other countries aswell?
I am calling their 1-888-868-6216 number they gave me... and complaining... and if I don't get my money back, I will be taking these @$$holes to court. With the other thousand or so reports from this site as proof.

something needs to be done about this, i was ripped off for 179.95 and have no clue how they got my credit card/debit card number. can we call the bbb and or consumers affairs, if not who can we call. i was amazed when i got on line to look the company up to see who they were and what they offered, but all i found was this stuff about scams. now i know forsure i was scammed and i was blamming my kids.
