MWI* Galleria USA Charged our Debit Card $139.95 when we had no knowledge of the company ripoff swindlers Spencer Nevada
When we called our bank information number we found a charge for $139.95 that we did not make using our debit card. When we went to the bank it was made by a company called Galleria USA. We had never heard of the company and our bank gave us the number to call.
When I called I got a man with an accent I could hardly understand and he said we had signed up for our membership when we had ordered something through an infomercial. I told him we had never signed up for the service and that we just wanted our money refunded. He said that it was past our 30 day membership trial and that we were not entitled to a refund.
He said that we should receive our membership packet in 7-10 days and that he would send us $100 to pay for one of our bills. I continued to insist that I just wanted our money refunded. He kept arguing and then I stated that I was going to file a complaint and I would call back.
I informed our bank of this and they told me to call and get the name of the man I spoke to. When I called back and entered my phone number I got an automated message saying that our account had been canceled and we would receive a refund in 3-5 business days if we were "entitled" to it. I could not get another representative on the phone.

I did make one mistake on my first report. I had put Spencer, Nebraska as the town where the company exists. I had got this from another report someone else had filed. I did not realize that this problem exists every where. I was actually ripped off in Fayetteville, North Carolina. My bank had me type up and notarize a letter to be sent to debate these charges made on my account. They said this process could take up to three months and if the company does not respond we would have to take further action. They also told me to try to call back the company again. When I called back the company I asked if I was actually going to get a refund. The man told me yes but it would take 2 to 3 months. I know it does not take this long to put money back into someones account. What could take so long? We will just have to wait and see.
