Complaint Review: My Yard Guy - Southlake Texas

Please refer to dates and times of this matter, including Kathy that hired My Yard Guy as a back up contractor for Phillips Landscape... Phillips never showed up, Kathy asked me to please do the work, she paid for the work as it was completed in four checks over a two week period... Please disregard any comments from the disgruntled mother of children... I quit playing into her hand when I made personal changes to change my life in a more positive direction... Kristen Reyonolds, or Jamie Hargett was tired of her marriage, I was not the first nor the last of her string of adulterous relations, I dont know if I am the only one she aborted children with as well, however when I said enough, things got really nasty fast... Kathy if you ever read this, we tried making you happy, Phillip never returned my calls either, and last I heard his family had asked him to leave thier residence... I had a friend point this out today 08-24-06...

Fist off Kathy hired my company to assist with Phillips Landscape for labor and transportation... Phillip failed to appear on the job and Kathy PAID FOR EACH PORTION OF WORK AS IT WAS PREFORMED... ALL WORK WAS COMPLETED AND PAID IN FULL @ TIME OF COMPLETION... My Yard Guy took over the project at Kathy's destrested request and did everything she and Phillip had agreed to do... There were modifications and changes done to accomodate Kathy - however her original trust was comprimised with Phillip, and Phillip lent little assistance with original plan matters... AS for Kristen Reylnolds or Jamie Hargett same person... Is a disgruntled mother of half custody of a child... Matt was correct in mentioning that Kristen had a child with me and was cheating on a husband she said she had left... Kristen Reynolds (Jamie Hargett) after multiple abortions, has a history of drug and alcohol abuse since 19 years of age, continued to live in troubled conditions... Sad but true some troubled people seem to find each other in what I have come to know as the disease... Kristen the mother began filing false reports after I filed custody with courts, she has never recoverd to date...

First of all let me say that Mark Lafavers is a recovering alcoholic and has been sober for quite some time now. Kristen (the girlfriend) never supported Mark emotionally or financially. She in fact cheated on her husband with Mark to have the child she mentioned. Note: she is still married to first husband. Kristen did in fact, deny Mark any relationship with child. She even listed her husband, not Mark, on the birth certificate as his child. She has been deceiving the courts, the police, and Mark for some time now. Kristen is severly mistaken and disturbed. Mark was recently awarded joint custody of their child, and Kristen was severly scolded by the presiding judge in the case. Mark has done everything right to make the life for his daughter and himself as special as possible. In addition, Mark does not have 5 DWI convictions nor does he have any domestic violence convictions. Mark is an honest, hard working individual that has perservered through hard times. Mark's love for his daughter is what strives him to be a great contractor, father, and brother.

First let me say, I am very sorry you too have been a victim of this company and it's owners shady buisness practices. Second at the time of the submission of your article, Mark Lafavers had been living alone (apart from girlfriend with three kids) for well over 2 years. That too was part of the lie. Mark Lafavers is a severe alcoholic and drug addict and Im afraid you caught him during a relapse. He was never at anytime supporting anyone but his own chemical problems. I, the girlfriend did indeed support him at times financially, however the reverse was never true. I too was a subject of yet a different type of scam. He also has a child he has not paid child support on in three 1/2 years. I wanted to submit an update to let you know he is now doing business in a new name, TURN KEY SOLUTIONS- and he has added hardscape to his list of services. He was in small claims court 4 times last summer for keeping deposits and not doing the work. He has a long list of dissatisfied customers. He was sued by a Harvard Lawyer in '98 for what sounds like the same actions you experienced with him. And again by his ex-girlfriend in April 2001 (the one following me, the one he told you he was paying rent for) I can not speak on the Phillips landscaper, I can only say Mark Lafavers is indeed a very threatening person when he wants to be. He has 5 DWI's as well as 2 domestic violence convictions. It is indeed a wonder he is allowed to continue to prey on society & slip through loop holes to scam again & again! He continues to contract business in the Southlake, Colleyville, and Grapevine Area.
