MyCashNow ripoff and harassment Internet
I took out a loan and have not been able to pay it back, except for one payment. They have called me 10 times at work within the last nine days, faxed an employment verification to my employer, and have left awful, nasty messages at my home. My employer is a collection attorney, and has advised them to cease and desist, because to continue to do so after having been told by me to stop several times, is a violation of fair debt collection practices.
Furthermore, my employer will not complete the employment verification, as she is under no obligation to do so, and all it asks is whether or not I work here. Obviously, they know I do, as they continue to call. Unbelievable that a corporation can conduct business in this manner. Horrible company, outrageous interest charges, and yes, they do continue to hit my bank account, which only accrues more fees. I am certain that if enough people knew their rights against this kind of harassing and debilitating behavior, the company would be forced to shut down. They will not reveal their address to ANYONE. I found on the internet that they are based in Grenada. If I'm not mistaken, that is NOT a state, but a foreign country!
