Don't see what your problem is. I don't have a Myspace account but I would think they would have info on resetting your password if you forgot it. Surely they could send an email to you with a password after you verified that this is indeed your account, or is Myspace your ISP as well?

the "owners" can do whatever they want. It's their bandwidth fees etc. What kind of alleged business could you really have if you need mygayspace to advertise it and not some legitimate advertising service or website?

I think people are missing the point. Just because a service is free doesn't give the owners the right to screw with us. Really these services are never free. MySpace is gathering data from millions of people every day and selling our infromation to preditorory companies and finacial institutions every day for a profit. What ? DO You think ? They are in it for Charity ? I had been using MySpace for more than a couple of years. I also subscribe to 40-50 other social networking sites, blogs, subscriptions. I have never had a problem accessing any of my other accounts before. This is the first time in my many years on the internet. All I have gotten from MySpace is Boiler Plate Bull S*** solutions that have never worked. I have never gotten one response that said we have found the problem and worked it out. If I were to type in my user name right now the message would say too many failed attempts. I have several friends who have asked me to help them with their music, but I can't even access their site because i can't get into my own. Fortunately music is not my only business so I have not made this a full time job trying to get into my account. But I have spent 100s of hours off and on over the last several months with out any success getting into my site. I just think there is something wrong with their customer service if they can't help with a simple request for access to my account. I really don't care about the money. I just know if I were Rupert Murdough, and if I owned the company, and if I knew that I had such incompetent people working for me, I would want to know who and why and I would chage proceedures and kick some asses. ""The lack of cooperation by my space has cost me Hundreds of Thousands of Dollars in lost income and costs They don't care."" Why don't you do as most business do and set up your own website to "showcase" or otherwise advertise your clients?

You said "A good friend died last year and I have been trying to help his mother with some details surrounding his space. These people don't have the decency to return a call or email or give me the time of day regarding my help. I am so frustrated I can't stand it. " How is this the fault of myspace that you want the password of someone elses account? How are they to know that you are not an ex on a mission.

What are your actual damages due to myspace. Myspace is a FREE service. They do not in any way have to allow your presence on myspace (see their terms and conditions). If you had these people you were trying to reach, and this cost you thousands of dollars, shouldn't have their phone numbers and other contact information? Seriously?
