I was enrolled in the Narconon program at Watsonville, CA. This is a
joke. They will not "support" you for after 1 year from graduation. The
rule is if you do not contact them 1 time a day for that "year" the you
are done. They also forgot to mention if you relapse you need tp pay
$10,000+ to get back "into the program" and do the saunca again which
is useless. People get so de-hydrated and confused they think they are
having flash backs and are "eliminating toxins". This is a joke, and is
mentally too much for anyone too take. The people who buy into the
program after everything is finished are victins of the church of
schientology. At Watsonville, CA our so called "counselors" where
former graduates.. maybe with 1-2 months more than you at the program.
They in no way can or will deliver you the professional services your
$29,000 will pay for. Not to mention after you graduate they offer you
this "job" which pays $50 a week, and includes you attend or do work at
the Chruch of Scientology.
This is a complete scam and has nothing to do with drug recovery, but
has something to do with mind control, and taking advantage of the weak
(drug addicts) to build their church and line their profits. Please
avoid this, %100 complete personal experience.

Sascha,
I know this report of yours is a tad old, but if you ever check back (and for others reading this), know this...
You were lied to.
As you likely know by now, Narconon is a front group for the Church of Scientology. They'll go to great lengths to deny and make it appear as if they are a completely secular group that "applies the teachings of LRH" (as they put it).
Did you know in addition to the thousands they've soaked families like yours for, that they get access to government money too? this is why they suppress the truth about the ties to the CoS.
The TR's you were doing are exactly the same as the ones done within the CoS. Did you yell at ashtrays? The application of "Ethics" by the "E.O." are exactly the same too, right down to the "conditions" you can be assigned: Doubt, Liability, Confusion or enemy. the names of certain things may have been altered a bit to appeal more to what the CoS calls "Wogs" (people who are not Scientologists).
The saddest part of the methods used by CoS and thus Narconon, is that you were a victim of what's called the "Disconnection Policy". This is a policy that the CoS denies exists, but is addressed directly on their website (lol wut?).
In many cases, a member of the CoS, or in your case, someone in the Narconon program, gets identified as having the means to cause a "flap" and they need to be offloaded. This is where the real crime against the person comes in....
They are told, like you, their family wants nothing to do with them and are shown the road. Note though, that there is no evidence given to you that this is the truth! No letter, no phone call... Nothing. Naturally, you're confused and upset, so the last thing on your mind is, first, calling your family and outright asking if it's true, and two, thinking about any papers you may be signing on your way out. CoS depends on this confusion. You could have signed any refund you had coming away without knowing it.
I've known people who have been told their family has disconnected from them, only to find out later that their family was, in fact, worried sick about them, having not heard from them in so long. Scientology and it's front groups care about the MONEY, not YOU.
"Make money, make more money, make others produce so as to make more money" -LRH
I am glad you found a couple of good people in there. I have nothing against Scientologists themselves, just the corrupt and misguiding top of their pyramid; RTC and COB.. And you know what I'm talking about since you've been "in". I think many Scientologists are basically good people who just want to help, but CoS takes that desire and warps it to their own ends.
By the way, the story from any Narconon is always the same when it comes to refunds: they claim they don't offer them. However, once a person or family begins to bring threats of legal action or government inspection, the tune changes. You will then be told that "this is a very rare exception" and you'll be given some money back dependent on how long you were in the facility for.
Good Luck.
