I was sent a flyer saying " thank you for answering our survey Questions, we are sending you a free year subscription to Maxim magazine. I had the wed address at the time and canciled the order. They responded that it is canciled. But keep sending the magazine to me. I don't know if they have my card number from the intranet and are charging me. But I have a kid that comes home and gets the mail.

So it is corruption and Like I said I am a woman, So how do I make them stop. I called the number that I had and no answer. I threw the flyer away so I dont have the email or phone number anymore and the magazine doesn't have a return address.

Try calling the publisher

You should call the publisher and ask them to stop sending the magazine. Don't ask to cancel or they will refer you to NME customer service, which then again wouldn't be such a bad idea. I personally see this site as a venting arena for people who are not able to accept the responsibility for their own actions. Having worked in the customer relations dept, and durring the work day also taking "sales" calls, offering the magazine promotion, I still can't imagine that the happy people who accept the promotion will be calling in later to deny placing the order. I used to think that, well, it is possible that some of the sales reps and or billing supervisors were slacking on the qulaity of the sales, until I began to have my own sales being denied by the customer!! we are a very honest and ethical company..our savy sales tactics are the reason we've managed to stay in business for 19 yrs. If you think that our promotion is a scam then just think every time you visit the grocery store u're being scammed. sales is sales is sales.. Working in Customer relations I can tell you honestly that we have strict policy for handling the elderly or people who may be mentally impaired. Otherwise, you're an adult and are able to make your own decisions. If giving your credit card number for billing and agreeing to "and we can count on you to honor your commitment to make your payments in full and on time?" Is NME scamming you, I hate to think that you blame Wal-Mart for charging your credit card on the same day you make your purchase. ps..When calling customer serivce, please remember that you catch more flies with honey than you do with vinegar...I'll be so happy to canel your order if you ask me nicely and just allow me to try and satisfy you even if your final answer is still "no thank you" you've made my day.. *smile*

Go to your postoffice, and complain to the Postmater, ask his/her help. USPS has very strict rules regarding sexually oriented materials. (Ads, magazines, catalogs, etc.) In the very unlikely case the Postmater does not want to help, go to this web-site: http://www.usps.com/ncsc/ locators/find-is.html type in your zipcode, and you will get the address/phone of your USPS inspector. Call them.
