Yep I got ripped off by these jokers. They let you believe they are going to give you money, and ask for your account number. Then they charge you?

What David is describing sounds like what almost happened to me with Credit Plus Rewards. Someone calls you up and promises you a loan if you give your account number and sign up for some BS credit line program selling cheap junk. The credit line program is real, the loan is not. I was told the money would be in my account the next day; never happened. When I called to inquire I was told that employee shouldn't have promised you a loan and a loan officer would be contacting me later. Luckily I got to the bank in time to cancel the transaction. The employee for this company that responded needs to tell the whole story. Rogue employees at these types of companies make promises that cannot or will not be kept to receive credit for the sale. All of these low life businesses need to be shut down.

So you give your bank account number without first reading the Terms and Conditions?

Why would you provide your bank account information and other personal information to anyone, regardless of online or otherwise, without first reading FAQ's and Terms and Conditions? Or even calling the company beforehand to ask questions about the membership? No one ripped you off. If you thought you were receiving money, that's of your own volition. The advertisements and emails do not state you're receiving money. The online application clearly states what National Platinum entails, and it tells you by submitting the online application, you're agreeing to the Terms and Conditions. It also states this is an exclusive online shopping membership and there are no credit checks- nor does it state anywhere in the 2 pages of the application that this is a loan, or you're receiving money. So who ripped you off? You're the one who filled out multiple pages on the online application, and obviously did not read anything, including FAQ's and Terms and Conditions. No one forced you to do so. All of the contact information, including our phone number, email address and mailing address is in the Terms and Conditions. Maybe you need to read the entire application BEFORE you fill anything out.
