I was in bad need of a 3406E Cat engine, and found this company, it sounded like a good deal. They said they would have the engine here in 2 weeks. After tons of phone calls and 4 months later, the engine finally showed up in the back of a reefer leaning against the wall in a wooden crate. (3300 pounds in a wooden crate?) The engine had a bunch of damaged parts, no where near meeting the VIN number specs of the motor we had ordered.

We needed this truck running for harvest, and actually ended up having to rent a truck while I took of most of the old parts on the old engine and replacing them on this one. Worked on the engine a week or so, got engine installed in truck and it wouldn't run. The ECM was not programmed for this application and was showing 1.6 million miles on it. I had to replace all sensors, ECM, (had to get it reflashed), new wiring harness, oil cooler and leaking exhaust gaskets, plus a bunch of other small repairs.

I contacted Bob and Larry about the freight damage and condition of engine. They filed a claim with UPS and private insurance. UPS and private insurance sent them a cheque, and they in turn sent me one for $2700 of the $8500 that they received. I try and call them, when they hear it's me I get put to their voice mail. When I do contact Larry or Bob, they promise to mail a cheque that hasn't arrived yet. Also, no money has ever showed up for the engine core, nor any warranty papers.

Everytime I call, they have a new person answering the phone. I am now making a point of telling those people to quit working for them, because chances are they will not get paid. I am working on handing this matter over to an attorney. (Remanufactured engines need to meet certain specs.)

Larry Pryor, Roy Pryor, and Bob ? are people that you want to stay away from. Don't ever buy anything from this company as they are just a bunch of crooks and thieves.
