Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

I have been a customer  of National Tire and Battery in Pittsburgh for over ten years.  As of the past few months i always paid my bill on time and the minimum amount or a little over.   I had about five hundred dollars of credit as of last week.  I just received a letter yesterday informing me that my credit had been cut to one hundred dollars.  The reason is i was late paying the last few months.  First of all, i am a 70 year old Senior Adult and Vietnam Veteran.   On a fixed income and with heating bills to pay, the last few months were tough but am back in control of finances.   What ever happened to customer loyality?    Also if the banks had not made massive mistakes in 2008, many of us older folks would still have a large 401 to fall back on, but thanks to their greed and screwups i lost over $60,000.00   Were the banks punished for this, Hell NO, nothing happened.  But let Joe or Jill Six pack screw up and hey we have to punish you with  taking your credit away.  I have news for these clowns, Seniors do not apprecite this and we are some of the most consistant payers of our debts.  That is my two cents. Thanks

I See You Like To Play Cards, Don't You?

The game is over, so you can take your senior citizen, veteran, fixed income and big bank cards off the table.  You lost the game. By YOUR OWN ADMISSION you were a LATE PAYER.  Nobody forced you to PAY LATE, it was your own decision.  As such, it was their decision to lower your credit limit because YOU didn't abide by the terms of the credit contract YOU agreed to.  Nothing more, nothing less.

Oh yes, one thing which is an absolutely putrid and a grave offense to those of us who have served and continue to serve is you BLAMETHROWERS who wish to pull out the Veteran card for sympathy when you people don't get your own way.

NO RIPOFF HERE -- Complainer failed to make payments on time.  Complainer's exclusive actions caused a lowering of credit line.

You should be ashamed...

As a person who claims to be a Veteran of Vietnam you should be ashamed of yourself for writing this "ripOff".

First of all as a Veteran weren't you taught to take responsibility for your actions?  Weren't you taught to not try to make excuses?  Weren't you taught to honor your obligations?

The fact is that your credit line wasn't cut because you are a senior, there is ZERO discrimination here.  Your credit line was cut for one reason and one reason only.  You failed to meet the obligation you made a legal promise of in paying at least the minimum due on or before your due date.

This is THEIR money they are allowing you to borrow, and because of your history with the late payments they no longer want to allow you to borrow any more of their money(well they will allow $100).  You don't get any "gold stars" for paying on-time because that is what you are supposed to do.  So no, even if you paid on-time for 50 years every month and then had a late payment.  They have the right to cut your limit, in fact they don't even need a reason.  If you read the terms they can do this without any reason at all.

"Seniors" may be some of the most consistant in paying their debt, but as you have proven their are exceptions.
