National Tire & Battery NTB Took complete utter advantage and completely ripped me off. Overland Park Kansas
I went to National Tire & Battery with a coupon for an oil change for $19.95. They informed me that there was an additional charge for disposal fee which wasn't mentioned on the coupon.
They said, I needed spark plugs based on my mileage. I saw on the computer the price of $81.89 for the service for spark plugs and I asked if this was the price to have them changed the store employee said yes. After the work was completed by NTB they informed me I needed to pay $142.25 for the spark plugs. I was never informed of the additional $60.36 fee. They said that was for 6 spark plus at $10.06 each. The $81.89 was only for labor not the parts another store employee told me.
They should have given me an estimate for the full cost up front both verbally and in writing. That way I could have made an informed decision. I will never do business with this company again based on my experience and how I was treated. I recommend getting a full estimate upfront in writing before allowing them to work on your vechicle.
Find a company that doesn't have shady business practices and is honest.
