National Travel Planners contacted us months prior to the HAI Heli-Expo in Houston February 2008 implying they were the official travel planner. I paid for two rooms at the downtown Hilton next to the convention center at a good rate. Two weeks before the convention, National Travel Planners called me and stated they were not able to secure the rooms and I would have to make my own arrangements. I called the Hilton and of course they were sold out and never heard of National Travel Planners. I called the credit card bank on our return and was told as the transaction was more than six months old, they would not credit our account. I filed a report with the Better Business Bureau and the Nevada Consumer Affairs Division. I would suggest everyone else do the same to shut this business down.
