Our personal effects were stolen from this company. Be careful- watch the entire process. Beware of who touches your stuff. As a matter of fact avoid them altogether and chose someone else.

We moved cross country in April. They sold me on their trust, their knowledge of the moving process, they said all the right things. Just watch- they will tell you what's wrong with all the other guys. That's how they get you.

If you want all of your personal belongings to make it to your new home- choose another moving company.

I have asked them to call me regarding a missing box that contained my husbands watches and other personal effects. It was an unmarked box mind you, but obviously different from the rest of them.

I am awaiting that call. Mike did not hesitate calling and emailing me until I decided to go with them...but now I need them...crickets. I am still awaiting a $1,000 mirror their people broke, a month later, it still has not arrived my home.

Dave told us to pack our own personal effects in our own boxes, yet the packers "mysteriously" did not inventory those boxes on the ledger. That box is now missing and they claim no responsibility for it.

I am hurt, angry, and extremely disappointed. I will be filing a police report, contacting all & any channels I possibly can that pertains to moving companies and let people know "Mover Beware" of this company Vanguard in CT and National VanLines. Perhaps our friends over at 20/20 Investigates will find this interesting and I hope someone goes undercover to expose this scam.

My husband was a former athlete, I truly believed we were targeted. If you feel you were targeted by these people too, direct message me. I will also share your story with the proper channel.

Mike and Dave- please give me a call or feel free to tell your side of the story. We know what happened and I am sure your people do also.

I will gladly retract if they can actually pick up the phone, rectify this and pay me the respect our $10,000 deserves.

I would like to state that my issues above with National Van Lines and Vanguard Logistics have been 100% rectified. I want to thank Ms. Brown, Claims Director, for personally  taking the time to reach out to my husband and me over the phone regarding our missing items. Ms. Brown went above and beyond her call of duty, as an employee of National Van Lines and as a human being. We spoke several times on the phone, and she was nothing but empthetic and deeply respectful and showed genuine concern. I was very emotional due to our loss & my husband devastated, and Ms. Brown made things right with us - we are walking away satisfied with the outcome. If you are reading this, I hope you are able to handle issues swifty and professionally - Ms. Brown  listened and took action for me as their Client and for this, I fully retract my comments above. Moving across country is not easy for anyone, it's scary, it was scary for us, and I consider myself very lucky to have been able to work with Ms. Brown to come to a peaceful resolution.
